White Jeans can be a little tricky but here’s a couple of things to keep in mind.

What better way to celebrate Spring, longer brighter days and a little more warmth on our faces than by refreshing our wardrobes and adding some fresh whites and neutrals such as Olive Greens and calming buttery hues.

If you haven’t already, it’s certainly time to dust off your white jeans and use them now to uplift your Winter darks and make your Spring neutrals sing.

It certainly can be tricky finding the right pair of white jeans. I’m more of a fan of the wide- leg or slightly flared white jean rather than the skinny straight leg. I find many white jeans can be unflattering on your legs and give you those horrible knee faces – do you know the ones I mean ? If you are looking to find some gems on the high-street, I can recommend these Audrey ones from Mango which I have linked directly in this post. They have a lovely chic shape to them and look terrific with both flats and heels.

Elevate your denims with a smart blazer which are all the rage this season thanks to the designer’s nod to the nineties power dressing tend.

Add mid-heels for a contrast to the slightly frayed ends of these favourites of mine and add your favourite bag. I love the shape of this one from the New York based label Hunting Season, available at Net-A-Porter and Matches.

It’s quite the petite bag in size but holds the essentials, phone, keys, lipstick.  Add some gold jewellery which is the perfect accompaniment to any shade of green.

The heels are from Zara and the light olive green unstructured blazer with tortoise buttons is also from Mango.

With Spring comes a sense of new fresh wardrobe beginnings and the excitement of knowing that Summer is around the corner.

Of course it also comes with this wonderful beautiful blossom, which can’t be ignored and deserves a blog post all of its own. I was determined to get a photograph of it before it disappears and London does such wonderful blossom.
