I love when you find items of clothing that fit together like pieces of a jigsaw. Forever more you reach for the same outfit repeatedly because it goes together like Harry and Sally.
These straight leg stripe trousers from Mango are flattering on and their clean lines make you feel very put together.
I’ve paired a crisp white shirt with mine – this pure cotton one is from Marks And Spencer and is a terrific basic for layering purposes. This soft camel open-front blazer from J-Crew which has been one of my closet staples this season.
These stripe trousers from Mango have a slightly flared leg and cropped finish and will look great with a pair of tan sandals, and a t-shirt when the weather warms up.
They are made from a soft cotton finish, and two neatly placed side pockets .

Everyone was talking about Spring fashion in the Sunday style columns last weekend and how it was finally time to unload some of our layers.
Just to show who is boss, the weather laughs in the face of these fashion predictions and snows all over them this week.
I can’t quite believe that the last time we had snow in London was five-years ago. I remember it well, as it happened the week that Archie was born.
I had some Mummy pals who were also heavily pregnant at the time and were terrified that they would’nt be able to get to hospital in time.
Archie is loving the snow this time round of course and has already squeezed in a snowball fight with his class-mates this morning.
But the great thing about owning a pair of stripe trousers is that you can wear a big chunky camel knit on top, boots underneath and you’ll still look stylishly good.
Stripes for life – right ?.
