Come Spring, I’m always hankering after a safari experience. I’m not talking about the really expensive ones with all the beautiful animals roaming around Africa – although obviously that would be extremely nice too.
I’m talking about the wardrobe sort and adding a big old dollop of soft green safari chic to my closet instead.

This soft pocketed jacket from Mangowith with its front tie belt and gorgeous gold buttons is worth talking about.
I’ve styled mine with a warm wool mohair knit because it’s still only Spring but come Summer – I’m planning to wear it with a white t-shirt or tied up and on its own. It’s a great match for these high-waisted check trousers with front pockets also from Mango.
Both these piece work extremely well together to form a Safari Chic look that looks perfectly at home roaming free and wild around an urban environment .

The Safari Chic Accessories

I love its warm carmel suede that looks perfect with khaki and whites. It’s a stylish accessory that instantly uplifts and updates and outfit.
These braided design mules are the perfect shoe option for when the weather warms up a little.
I’m also planning on bringing these on holiday to Cyprus with me in a couple of weeks.
If you’re planning on adding some jewellery, add some gold bangles or gold hoop earrings.
Or layer some delicate necklaces inside a white shirt and a green khaki jacket. The result with be a sophisticated look for grown ups with an undeniably stylish wild side.

Oh how I love the classic chicness of Safari Chic. Olive and khaki are this season’s neutrals, dressed up and down. Your new casual go to uniform will be your military green jacket with jeans.
I might not be the regular outdoor expedition type, true. And perhaps my version of trophy hunting is conducted in stores (usually in the shoe department), but I’m a fashion hunter I guess.
And one thing is for sure I’m wild about Spring’s Safari chic-inspired clothes.
