In my opinion no piece of clothing subtly whispers Spring-Summer than a crisp white dress. I’m pretty fussy about them though – not any old white dress will do. I like them to have personality, style and most importantly if I invest my money in one – staying power for season after season.
Here are the current three favourites in my wardrobe that have I have collected over the past few years. The first one is the Flora Dress and is from Love Shack Fancy. I have worn this so many times now, I have lost count and it still comes out every Summer.
The newest addition is the second one here – a maxi with a delicious pop of red from Rae Feather’s new Spring-Summer collection. An easy going but sophisticated number, it is very versatile and can be worn loose or belted. This lovely piece is made from the softest cotton and can be worn as a day dress at home or in the city with trainers and taken to the beach with your favourite pair of sandals.

A special white dress is never just a white dress -really ! A keeper has an alluring style and detail that draws you in. This backless number linked here https://seraphinalondon.com/collections/women/products/white-endless-summer-dress which I lived in last Summer is one of those. I brought it on my holidays to Provence and Greece and it now holds very special memories for me. It’s perfect for wearing on the beach or having a cocktail at sunset in a lovely sunny spot. I wore it at home in the garden last weekend and loved having it on again .
In all of these photographs there is one common accessory – my beloved minimalist no fuss Ancient Greek sandals which I have linked on this post too. They go everywhere with me and I normally wear them so much over Summer that I begin to worry that they have become surgically attached.
