Checks are everywhere this season and the trend is a lovely way to add interest to your Autumn-Winter wardrobe.
Designers have re-invented these historical patterns by putting them on new modern shapes. This has like most popular catwalk trends trickled down to the high-street and there are plenty of checkered choice out there now.
Oversized check blazers either in bright shades or more subtle tones like the one I’m wearing are perfect transitional pieces for cooler months.
This one is from H&M and I was attracted to its easy going attitude, subtle greys and cream checks that basically go with everything in my wardrobe.
This is a straight-cut check jacket in woven fabric with soft brushed finish, notch lapels and buttons at the front.
I have teamed this check jacket with my nude leather trousers from Nanushka and white boots from Mango. It would also look fab over dark or black denims or black leather trousers. Or clash your prints by wearing it over an Autumnal floral dress
Accessories include my favourite Greta bracelet stack from Annie Haak inspired by Old Hollywood and handcrafted in 14ct plated gold silver.
