Suede and Denims
post

I love denims and suede together and this soft as butter jacket from French brand Sezane is a joy to wear. It feels lovely to the touch and fits like a glove. I’m an 8 and took an XS for that more fitted look.
I teamed it with one of my favourite pair of favourite denims from & Other Stories.

The Little Black Dress
post

Almost everything certainly changes except the search for the perfect little black dress. I stumbled across this slip one on high-street favourite Cos and it has already seen me through a couple of evenings out in London and Paris.
It reminds me of the Kate Moss version she wore in the 90’s and it’s so easy to wear – just slip it on and off you trot. I like wearing wearing mine with my white heels for an evening out and if you’re not brave enough to wear it on it’s own yet, just pop on your favourite blazer over it. I’m 5.6 for reference and it’s pretty much midi-length on me.

How To Wear Pistachio Green
post

One of the new subtle and oh so chic colours to emerge this season is this soft beautiful shade – Pistachio Green. It sets off all our other favourite classic colours wonderfully – camel, black, white and cream. One of my first purchases this season in this colour is this wool mix blazer that I am wearing here from & Other Stories. It’s absolutely perfect with black jeans/trousers and a white shirt this time of year. It could also be paired with camel or mocha brown trousers for a chic day time look or worn over an all black outfit.

Leather shirts with elasticated trousers
post

Leather and pleather are everywhere this season and what a great joy that is. I haven’t been brave enough though to try a double leather look and just like my denim, I like to break up my outfit with a different texture.

Here I have teamed a fitted leather shirt with elasticated wool mix trousers , and when worn open this shacket works layered with a white t-shirt or a roll-neck.

I’ve added my favourite white boots, but this trouser would also work wonderfully with heels and a cami top for evening time. I am ready for whatever Tuesday throws at me. Everything linked !

Wool trousers – new favourite basic
post

This year I’ve taken to soft wool trousers as an alternative to jeans. These are from Cos and have just been restocked – yay -and I have linked a very similar alternative pair here. Soft, cosy and stylish, they work so well with knits. Look for an ankle cut flared leg for an flattering alternative.

Checks are everywhere this season and the trend is a lovely way to add interest to your Autumn-Winter wardrobe.Designers have re-invented these historical patterns by putting them on new modern shapes.
