When Lightening strikesFashion
It was love at first sight with this Dodo Bar Or silk tassel blouse when I spotted it on the Matches Fashion website and after I tried it on for size, just to test the waters you see, my resistance was utterly hopeless.
Its attractive laid back, black and white, pattern which is so easily matched with anything and most things in my wardrobe made me feel certain it would be one of my summer key pieces.
And not just the summer but heading into Autumn too. That’s where the problems started.
There was no turning back once it had its grip on me.
More expensive than the norm – yes – but I’m already getting my return and I do think it’s worth investing in designer pieces now and again to keep your closet feeling that extra bit special.
I wore it to a Coldplay concert in Wembley this week with cropped leather trousers and I’m planning to debut it again for a date night over the weekend paired with a suede skirt.
These Frame jeans in a light summer wash were only moments, before this shoot, laid flat on my kitchen table getting chopped and frayed.
The little blink and you’ll miss it bonsai bucket bag is by a talented guy called Simon Miller but unfortunately it’s sold out.
I’ve linked the blouse here for you – just in case you feel tempted too. I opted for the size 40 as I like my blouses a little loose rather than fitted.
