What We Did In Connaught Village
I’m just a single day back in London and slowly getting through piles of washing from our family holiday.
However before I left this bustling big city of London, I spent an afternoon exploring a delightful corner, a slightly hidden oasis of wonderful shops, and places to eat and drink – Connaught Village.
SHOP THE POST
First port of call was a visit Me&Em, to one of my favourite independent boutiques in London, to browse their new Spring collection.
I fell madly in love with their True Chic Stripe Jumper, which I’m wearing here paired with a pair of leather trousers and a red pair of boots for a pop of Spring time attitude.
It’s such a stylish versatile basic that I never tire of finding new exciting ways to wear it.
One of the other highlights for me was spending time in Connaught Wine Cellars, a gorgeous little place packed with fascinating tasty wines.
The staff here are amazing and I was blown away by their passion for their produce and their infinite knowledge.
If you are ever in need of a good bottle of wine that won’t cost the earth – head here immediately.
Every girl loves getting their hair and nails done and being generally fussed over. Whenever I get a blow-dry, it lifts my mood instantly and I feel ready for whatever nonsense the day throws at me.
Victoria Metaxas and I got a bouncy blow-dry which cheered us up no end at Fe hair and beauty.
Last but not least, all that running around made us very hungry. I love exploring new restaurants, so it was an absolute treat to try the Argentinian influenced menu at Casa Malevo, 23, Connaught Street.
The stylish interior and candlelit backdrop is a lovely place to head for dinner or lunch with your partner or girlfriends.
