A Red Polka Dot Dress Under The Palm Trees

Red Polka Dot Dress And Palm Tress

A red polka dot dress has been a life-long lust of mine. There’s something ultra feminine about a red dress and if you find the right one, then it’s something that will see you through many an occasion.

Before our family holiday this year, I researched what was on the high-street and in some online stores especially aimed at the sun-worshipper. I was on a quest to discover some great pieces that would stand out and earn their keep. The pieces I found are in my opinion quite special and won’t break the bank either.
It’s always worth putting a little thought into your holiday wardrobe. A good suitcase makes you feel extra special,  when you’re sitting there enjoying those sundowners.

If you are thinking of going somewhere sunny and balmy soon, hopefully, you’ll find some of my research over the next couple of weeks useful.

I found this red polka dot dress in Topshop and although it’s for TALL, it makes a fab midi dress on the average height. I’m 5’6, so by no means a giant. If you want something shorter – there’s also this version here
It’s a great little wardrobe gem for £50 and has lovely details in the front and on the sleeves.
Add a little basket and sandals and it does the rest of the work.

I have been eyeing up these delicate and minimal pair of sole food from Ancient Greek Sandals for a while now and love how they go effortlessly with any dress.

This holiday, I’ve packed a lot of free flowing dresses. They are so easy on holiday – an outfit in one.
Midi length is a flattering silhouette and hides those pale untanned legs. There’s a great sense of freedom when you go on holiday and you let those jeans behind.
A nice dress always adds a little romanticism to your escape and although, I’m massively urban back in London and practically live in trousers, I do like to experiment with colour and dresses more when I’m abroad.
