Our New Emma MattressInteriors
Our new Emma Mattress is amazing. We needed a new mattress for ages. The thoughts of replacing our old one seemed like a huge chore.
It was a job that had the same appeal as going to the dentist – costly and painful-or so I thought.
We discovered Emma – the British mattress company that now ships all over the world. The rest was a breeze.
The Technical Bit
Here is the technical bit – listen carefully. By combining a decompressing hypersoft-layer, pressure-relieving pocket springs, visco-elastic memory foam and a supporting layer of cold foam, an Emma mattress is made.
It has given our family the best sleep.
Lovely sleep despite having a 4-year-old little boy, and a cat who has no snooze button when it comes to breakfast time.
Our new Emma mattress also encouraged me to give our bedroom a new make-over. We have fallen in love with this space all over again.
After Emma arrived, I updated our bed linen to go with her stylish grey base, and added some new accessories that you’ll see in these shots.
The Delivery Part – Easy Peasy
I thought getting a mattress delivered was going to be a big hassle.
How on earth was a King-size mattress going to fit up our narrow windy London stairs?
Easy peasy it turned out.
Our new Emma mattress was delivered right to our door and here comes the best bit.
It came compressed and vacuum packed in this neat rectanglur cardboard box.
The Emma mattress will rise in an instant after unwrapping.
We had the whole thing done in less than 20 minutes.
I also discovered that the council will take away your old one for a very small fee – something also worth bearing in mind.
The mattress which is put together in Derby comes with a 100 night free trial.

The company was founded several years ago when Max and his girlfriend moved into their first apartment.
They began a search for a new mattress and realised how much of a hassle and costly experience the whole thing was.
We love sleeping on our new Emma mattress, redecorating around it and Archie (and me) love bouncing on it.
