Ganni’s Faucher Knit Had Me At Hello

Ganni’s Faucher Knit

Every now and then something catches your eye and it niggles away in the back of your mind for months.
You keep trying to ignore it but a beautiful vision of this gorgeous piece stays there and refuses to disappear.
This is what happened with Gann’ Faucher knit in soft sky blue.

I especially love wearing it with the contrasting satin Leclair ruffled polka dot skirt also from Ganni. They sit so easily together, it’s almost like they were made for each other.

Come Autumn, I will be living in Ganni’s Faucher knit, you mark my words. You’ll be saying to yourself, gosh, Joanne sure is getting a lot of wear out of that sweater. She must like it a damn lot.
I love nothing more than finding something very dreamy and special that I can wear to bits.

Hand-knitted by local Tuscan artisans- each knit takes three days to make. Update it for Autumn in a soft sky-blue hue, this extremely cozy piece is perfect for everyday.
I’m wearing it now with skirts and bare legs because of the UK’s changeable weather and it’s already packed away for a trip to Cornwall next week.
It is spun from a soft wool and mohair blend and the best bit is its voluminous bell sleeves.

I am planning to team this outfit with a pair of loose on the thigh knee high boots and a structured sort of bucket bag.
And this soft sky blue goes wonderfully with black leather, so yes to wearing it with black leather trousers and leather skirts and tights when the weather gets cold.
This blue hue also looks wonderful with gingham trousers and distressed denims.

The Leclair ruffled skirtis cut from liquid satin to skim your figure, printed with polka-dots and trimmed in asymmetric ruffles.
