Autumn Wrapped Up In A Sandro Dress

A Sandro dress

If you could wrap Autumn up in a dress – this silk floral number comes as close to materialising a season as it gets.

Tumbling Autumnal Flowers splashed all over it, and an easy to wear midi length, makes it an instant wardrobe winner. Every time I wear it, out and about in London, I can’t help humming ‘All the leaves are brown’ to myself.

Here it is stopping traffic at Westminster- well not really – more me stepping into traffic outside the Houses Of Parliament – but you know – all in a day’s work. (haha)

How To Style

It’s very easy to style too. For extra warmth, pop a black or cream polo-neck inside it. Add black tights, a wardrobe staple this time of year, and either a long coat or waist length blazer, and you’re ready to go.

When choosing a dress this time of year – I always opt for easy to wear, no nonsense dresses. My favourites are generally midi length because you get more material for your buck and they look flattering with ankle boots and crisp white trainers.

Dresses Versus Trousers

I tend to get a little lazy this time of year and opt for trousers a lot more. But I love dresses that you just put on and they require very little styling.

This Sandro dress does all the work – all you have to do is enjoy wearing it.

For the evening, take it to dinner – add chandelier earrings, a clutch and some heels. You’re transformed into an evening chic French Goddess in no time.

White Accessories

I’m loving white accessories this Autumn- Winter. This little circular solid leather white bag from Nico Giani is a fashionista’s dream.

It’s minimalist clean finish adds a touch of freshness to all the dark tones in my wardrobe.

It also comes with a strap that you can use during the day time, if you want a hands free option.
